Translate Technology Advisors, LLC advises and represents organizations that need assistance with technology utilized in their environments. We interpret and translate to help bridge the gap between business need and technology, analyzing new initiatives, or seeking an understanding as to why a previous initiative is not providing the desired outcome.

Representative / Liaison

You’ve outsourced all or part of your technology to a managed service provider (MSP). Now, you’re not sure what you're getting for your money. You’re not as satisfied as you thought you’d be. We can assist by analyzing your current environment, and as your representative, work with your MSP to get you where you want to be. We can represent you in your MSP relationship on an ad-hoc or ongoing basis, supporting your technology operation or with new projects.

Interpreter / Translator

You’re part of a firm’s leadership team or a member of its board of directors. For strategic, audit, or regulatory reasons, you have a need to understand the technology that’s been deployed in your firm’s environment. You struggle to gain an understanding of this because your technology staff or your MSP is unable to discuss technology using language that you understand. We can act as translators in this case, helping you to gain the understanding using plain English, without all the technical jargon.

Advisor

Your firm has outsourced a business process to a third-party vendor. Are they being good stewards of your data? Do they, in turn, outsource some of their processes to yet another vendor? Do you know where your data is? Is it protected? We can provide advice regarding concerns you may have with vendor relationships by performing vendor risk assessments on your behalf.

Does your firm have a business continuity (BC) and a disaster recovery (DR) plan? Has it ever been tested? We have in-depth experience in these areas and can provide advice and consultation on designing, writing, and testing your BC and DR plans.

Does your firm provide services to other firms? For the same reasons you may have concerns about the vendors you use, your clients may have the same concerns about you. How do you protect your clients’ data? Having a strong BC and DR plan go a long way to instill your clients’ confidence in you. We can use the same vendor risk assessment framework against your organization to assess your firm’s ability to be a good steward of your clients’ data.
